The Taíno were and are an indigenous people of the Caribbean. At the time of European contact in the late fifteenth century, they were the principal inhabitants of most of what is now Cuba, Hispaniola, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and the northern Lesser Antilles. This hat is structured with a classic fit, flat brim, and full buckram. This hat features the an embroidered word "Taino" on the front panel, the Santos Threads logo on the left side panel, and the Taino sun symbol on the right panel. The adjustable snap closure makes it a comfortable, one-size-fits-most hat.
